Early Thanks

On a rare Saturday night off, I managed to stumble into an invitation to play a mini music festival with six bands at a club we go to every Wednesday. Amy and I were more than up to the task.

We even had some of out friends from the headliner (as well as our friend Kaci) finish the set with a Harry Nilsson cover.

We sang a short set of covers as a duo before the closing number, and I loved seeing Amy throw off all that energy, despite having a bad cold. You couldn't tell she felt awful all week. For my part, I just love playing guitar and listening to my friends perform. Just another reason why I moved out here and decided to stay all these years.

Pinball Wizard

My band played a Holloween costume ball at a brewery in Connecticut. Almost Famous Brewery is located just off of Route 20 in East Granby next to the airport. They have good beer and a bunch of pinball machines!

I was dreseed as Satan, and decided to put my skills to the test.

Satan lost quickly

But we had a good sized crowd and enjoyed ourselves very much. I look forward to returning.

Earlier in the week, I was hosting an open mic event in Florence, (where we always go) and I had to run sound (something I rarely do)

But my nerves calmed down once I got the hang of it, and it ended up being a great night filled with music and friends.
